Accommodation in Prague
VŠEM as a private university does not have its own accommodation facilities for Erasmus students. Students can consult the accomodation matters with members of the International student's club.
We have compiled a list of useful web links offering both short and long-term accommodation for those, who will search for accommodation on their own. Please note, that the list is only illustrative and by no means includes all the agencies dealing with renting/providing accommodation:
ROOMS|5 - modern accommodation for students in Prague
The building is newly renovated and only 10 minutes walk from the university. Accommodation is equipped with modern new custom made furniture and offering great access by public transport to downtown. Subway is 5 minutes by foot, night buses just a few steps from the building. The company is registered with the Ministry of Interior of the Czech Republic as accommodation provider, therefore, there is no problem to get a visa or a permanent residence permit based on their confirmation.

You can do the reservation online. double room costs between 6.590 CZK and 8.630 CZK/pers./month and the price for a single room ranges between 8.860 CZK and 9.990 CZK/ single room/month.
Zeitraum Student Housing
Zeitraum Student Housing is located in Prague 7 – Holešovice and it offers a comfortable and modern stay. It is ideal for students, who are looking for an accommodation near the city centre, a friendly atmosphere and a strong foundation for learning. Private Apartments have their own bathroom and a kitchen and Private Single Rooms share a bathroom with another room and a kitchen on the floor, rooms are within the size 10 m2 and 30 m2, fully equipped.
Accommodation is adjacent to shops, restaurants, bars and 2 fitness centres and it takes 50 minutes by public transportatiom to university.

DC Residence
Unique project offering accommodation for students in a renovated modern building in a quiet area with all services needed for a quality university studies and the subsequent relaxation. From accommodation it takes almost 1 hour by public transportation to the university!
DC residence offers accommodation with these services:

- Internet
- laundry
- cleaning
- room for bicycles
- parking
You can book accommodation online. Recommended reservation deadline is August, December and March due to the start date of study. Housing price from 7.300 CZK (price determines the location of a room in the building).
The Czech Technical University (dormitories, hotel)
VŠEM also cooperates with the Czech Technical University and therefore students can find accommodation in one of their 8 dormitories. The Czech Technical University dormitories serve preferentially for the accommodation of its students; for that reason there is no guarantee for getting a place there.
The Czech Technical University also offers accommodation in its hotel. This type of accommodation is suitable for short-term accommodation (1 – 2 weeks) for those, who will search for accommodation on their own after arrival in Prague. Students, who are interested in this type of accommodation are obliged to send an e-mail to VŠEM staff (the hotel requires confirmation of study).
