Rector's Office

The Rector’s office is the executive body of VŠEM, which conducts organizational, coordination, consulting and advisory, registration, and supervisory activities in the area of studies, research and the economic, personal, legal, external, and foreign relations and internal administration.

The supreme executive body is the Rector of VŠEM (Prof. Ing. Milan Žák, CSc.), as well as the Academic Council of VŠEM. The Student's Council of VŠEM is a self-governing body. The activities of the individual bodies and the specification of individual functions are stipulated by the VŠEM Statute.

Rector VSEM

Rector as the highest executive authority of VSEM makes a decisions in the area of studies stipulated by the VSEM Statute and Study and Examination Regulations VSEM. Rector manages activities in the field of study, teaching, research and foreign relations VSEM. As director of CES VSEM manages activities in research at VSEM.

Vice-Rector for Studies

Vice-Rector for Studies manages the activities of the learning and teaching process, staffing and science and research at VSEM. Elaborate programs of activities and development, accreditation and evaluation materials for the area.

Vice-Rector is a member of Academic Council of VŠEM and is responsible for leading and developing activities of VŠEM in the strategic direction of the school to meet the expectations of interested groups at VŠEM.

Vice-Rector for Strategy and Development

Vice-Rector for Strategy and Development submits and manages the development projects of VŠEM, together with the strategic determination of the partnership VŠEM with external entities in the national and international environment. Vice-Rector is involved in linking teaching with the requirements and needs of practice with respect of the latest developments in the given areas. Vice-Rector is a guarantor for professional practice of students.

Head of the Rector's Office is responsible for compliance with Internal Regulations VSEM, coordinate publishing activities, together with Videolearning VSEM, provides control and management of the administration of academic institutions, the Rector's Office (Rector and Vice-Rectors) and Administrative (administration of study, the Rector's Office and other departments).

Organizational and administrative management of the academic departments of VŠEM and recruitment. Continual communication with the faculty members, record keeping and reporting. Co-operation with external partners.

Organizational and administrative support for the academic team, HR agenda and communication with the academic team. Support for the Vice-Rector for Educational and Research and for the Vice-Rector for Development and Foreign Relations. Coordinator of key project activities under the Operational Programme Prague - Adaptability (OPPA).
