Rector's Office

The Rector’s Office is the executive body of VŠEM, responsible for organizational, coordination, consulting, record-keeping, and supervisory activities across study, research, development, administration, and external relations, working with various VŠEM departments. It includes the Legal, Financial, and Technical Departments, as well as the International Office.

The Rector’s Office consists of executive, statutory, self-governing, advisory, and initiating bodies, with the highest executive authorities being the Rector and the Academic Council, and the self-governing body being the Student Council.

Rector

The Rector, as the highest executive body of VŠEM, makes decisions on study-related matters as defined by the Statute of VŠEM and the Study and Examination Regulations of VŠEM. The Rector oversees activities in the areas of education, teaching, research, and international relations. The Rector is responsible for the strategic and conceptual development of the university

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Emeritus Rector of VŠEM, who is involved in activities related to study and international relations at VŠEM. As the Director of CES VŠEM, he oversees research activities at VŠEM.

The Vice-Rector for Studies

The Vice-Rector for Studies oversees activities related to the teaching process, pedagogy, staffing, and science and research at VŠEM. She prepares and submits activity and development programs, as well as accreditation and evaluation materials for the aforementioned areas.

The Vice-Rector is a member of the Academic Council of VŠEM and is responsible for leading and developing VŠEM’s activities in line with the university’s strategic direction to meet the expectations of its stakeholders.

The Vice-Rector proposes and manages development projects at VŠEM, along with strategically establishing partnerships between VŠEM and external entities at both the national and international level.

The Vice-Rector is a member of the Academic Council of VŠEM and is responsible for the development of VŠEM’s strategic activities. He is involved in aligning education with the requirements and needs of professional practice, taking into account the latest trends in the respective fields.

Vice-Rector for Strategic Management

Coordinates the implementation and development of VŠEM’s digital infrastructure, oversees strategic management and institutional planning, and proposes process and system innovations within individual departments of VŠEM.

The Vice-Rector for Administration and Study Control

The Vice-Rector for Administration and Study Control is a member of the Administrative Committee of VŠEM. She is responsible for implementing the educational activity concept of VŠEM, the administrative operations of VŠEM units (Information and Advisory Center, Rector’s Office), and for the organization and course of studies at VŠEM.

Head of the Rector’s Office

Responsible for ensuring compliance with VŠEM’s internal regulations and rules, managing the agenda of tuition fees, overseeing the control and administration of academic departments, the Rector’s Office (Rector and Vice-Rectors), and administration (study administration, Rector’s Office, and relevant departments). Member of the Administrative Committee of VŠEM.

Responsible for project management and coordination of individual work teams. Provides organizational support to the Information and Advisory Center and the Rector’s Office of VŠEM.
