The Master of Applied Positive Psychology (MAPP) program is designed for anyone who wants to understand the deeper principles of human functioning and learn how to apply them effectively in personal development, leadership, coaching, education, and people management.

The program integrates knowledge from positive psychology, occupational psychology, health psychology, emotional studies, and leadership with practical skills for both professional and personal growth.

Emphasis is placed on the practical application of acquired knowledge and skills—whether working with individuals, teams, or organizations. It is an ideal choice for those who want to create positive change in their environment based on scientific insights, with respect for both individuals and society.

 

  • Understand key concepts of positive psychology and learn how to apply them in everyday practice. You will analyze and interpret data from psychology and social sciences, with a focus on ethical approaches and information validity.
  • Learn to use psychology of emotions, motivation, and health to support individuals and teams.
  • Gain tools for coaching, leadership, and organizational development.
  • Master strategies for managing change, crises, and innovation in the workplace.
  • Deepen your knowledge in adult education, HR, and environmental psychology. You will develop a focus on positive change, the ability to reflect on your own growth, think critically, and continuously enhance both professional and personal competencies.
  • Become familiar with key theories and principles of positive psychology and their application in various areas of human activity, such as education, the workplace, health, or personal development.

Mgr. Simona Hřebíčková

A trained psychologist with a degree in psychology and ten years of experience in marketing, she runs her own psychological practice and works as a psychologist on the TV Nova show Extrémní proměny.

PhDr. Norbert Riethof, Ph.D.

Work and organizational psychologist, entrepreneur, and coach who runs the company Coaching Systems. He works as a trainer and supervisor of coaches, teaches at Charles University, and provides psychotherapy at the Psychological Clinic.

Mgr. Kateřina Schönová

She studied psychology at Palacký University in Olomouc, has worked with children and adults in various healthcare and crisis facilities, and currently practices counseling and psychotherapy for both children and adults.

ThLic. Mgr. Michal Prívara, Ph.D.

Doctor of Psychology and Psychopathology from the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University. He focuses on teaching relationships and psychodynamic processes and publishes in international professional journals.

Eva Filippová, Hons. B.A., M.A., Ph.D.

Expert in social cognition, language, and psychology with a PhD in Applied Cognitive Science from the University of Toronto. She collaborates with the European Commission as an external expert and has published numerous studies on the development of social cognition, theory of mind, irony, and Czech sign language.

Simone Weissenberger, Ph.D.

Psychologist and lecturer with a PhD from the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University. For over ten years, he has been engaged in teaching and research in the areas of ADHD, time perception, and biological psychology, and is currently investigating the use of in silico models and artificial intelligence in psychiatry and healthcare.
