Research activities are carried out by VŠEM main workplace as the University of Economics and Management fulfilled the requirements for Research organizations according to the Czech law (Act No. 130/2002 Sb.). VŠEM runs one research centrum (Centre for Economic studies).
Centre for Economic studies (CES VŠEM)
Centre for Economic Studies VSEM (CES VSEM) is an independent research institute VSEM focusing on institutional quality, innovation performance, the use of information and communication technology and the quality of human resources. Scientific research outputs are implemented as part of the expert-reviewed journal Economic Papers VSEM and monography Competitiveness of the Czech Republic (CR Competitiveness Almanac).
