Student counselling

Student counselling VŠEM offers individual consultation of experts in the areas of professional, psychological - pedagogical, financial and legal advice. Student counselling is implemented through individual consultations, either through written contact or in person at the premises of VŠEM.
  • Written consultation (electronically) are implemented with a professional consultant by anonymous Counselling form VŠEM
  • Expert advice is available to students in the first floor (Office No. 106), with prior appointment, every second week of the month.

Financial counselling

Financial counselling offers students the possibility of consultations in the field of tuition fees (due date of tuition fees, content of individual price levels ...). The consultation is based on the framework of the VŠEM Internal Regulations. Financial advice is provided by Ing. Michal Šubrt.

Study coaching

In the scope of „Study coaching“ it is possible to consult the situations, in which students can get during their studies, or after graduation (e. g. not clear priorities, problems with time-management, reconciliation of work, personal life and studies, adaptation after enrollment to the university, overloading, loss of motivation to studies etc.). Study coaching with Ing. Iveta Hlaváčová, MBA.

Pedagogical-career counselling

In the context of career counselling, students are encouraged in job selection and in their integration into the work process so that they can handle the tough decisions and be prepared to participate at the labour market. They are provided with information about the labor market, job profile and available job positions. Professional counselling provides PhDr. Ivana Šnýdrová, CSc.

Legal advice

Within the legal advice, short informative meetings are provided, particularly where and how the applicant could enforce his cause the best. Legal advice is not for solving complicated cases. Legal advice is provided by JUDr. Bc. Peter Brezina, Ph.D.

Psychological counselling

Pedagogical and psychological counselling is focused on the problems of students, helping students deal with personal or relationship problems. Students are encouraged to search for their own talents, dispositions and personal qualities. Pedagogical - psychologic counselling provides PhDr. Ivana Šnýdrová, CSc.

Student counselling

Student counselling is aimed to study problems of students, helping students solve difficult learning situation, set up an efficient system of education, balance work and university studies. The advice can be ordered through the the Form (brief description of the problem + proposal deadline meeting). Student counselling is provided by Bc. Tereza Vlášková. Final theses counselling is provided by doc. Ing. Lucie Depoo, Ph.D. (Vice-Rector for Education and Research).

Graduate from Faculty of Psychology, Charles University in Prague. She started as a psychologist at the Psychiatric Clinic in Bohnice where she was from 1971 to 1979. Afterwards she worked at Charles University, first at the Department of Psychology and since 1985 at the Department of Adult Education and Personnel Management until 2012.

Graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Management, Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, majoring - Operation and Economics. Directs the activities of the study department within the recruitment process and the communication with applicants. In his agenda are tuition fees, resettlement studies, dropouts, recognition of courses / exams, he is responsible for updating listings in the SIS VSEM and communication with teachers (teaching technical support), he also handles queries and requests of students.

Graduate from the Faculty of Economics and Management, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague - Economic and Cultural Studies. Directs the activities of the study department, she is responsible for meeting deadlines in accordance with applicable procedures and directives from Study department. At the same time within the Study department she olso covers the agenda tuition fees. As part of its standard job description is the agenda of examination administration concentration (EZT, ZZK, RZT), interruption of studies, individual study plan, enabling to study.
