The Business Economy Department is a special educational workplace which provides tuition in theoretical economics and the related practice-oriented disciplines within all accredited bachelor's, master's and MBA study programmes.

doc. Ing. Marie Bohatá, CSc.
Ethics of Business, Ethics and Social Responsibility
Graduated from the University of Economics in Prague, branch Econometrics. After 1989 she trained several internships abroad. In 1999-2003 she was the head of the Czech Statistical Office, and in 2004-14 she worked in the European Commission as Deputy of CEO of Eurostat. Currently, she is engaged as advisor of the European Commission, she is an emeritus researcher at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and chairwoman of the Company for Ethics in Economics, Entrepreneurship and Administration. For the period 2018-21 she received a new grant, she is the main investigator of project TAČR TL01000260 "Ethics in public administration".
