  • Study contract (an approved plan of studies at the foreign university or college)

  • Record of the study results achieved at the foreign higher education institution
  • Real length of the stay confirmation
  • Final report about the stay written by the student
  • Full recognition of the studies abroad (in case the necessary conditions are met)

Costs

  • Tuition fees differ depending on the school choice (AUD 10,000 – 13,500/year – a Bachelor’s study programme, AUD 9,000 – 16,000/year – a follow-up Master’s study programme)
  • Accommodation: AUD 110 – 250 per week
  • Cost of living (boarding, clothes, entertainment, transport, travelling, phone calls etc.): AUD 360 per week
  • Health insurance: Overseas Student Health Cover (AUD 85 – 342, depending on the length of the stay)
  • Travel expenses (visa, air ticket, insurance etc.)

Resources

  • Most international students in Australia pay all the tuition fees themselves
  • It is possible to ask for a scholarship, provided by the Australian government, educational institutions and other organizations

Visa

  • All the visitors to Australia are obliged to have a valid visa
  • If the studies exceed the period of 3 months, then a student’s visa is mandatory (EUR 290)
