Dr. Lucie Depoo holds a Ph.D. in Management. Her research interests are related to social innovations, quality in higher education, and human resource management. She is a member of scientific editorial boards, serve as associated editor and reviewer of several international journals. She authored more than eighty scientific articles and many books. She is leading researcher at the Center of Economic Studies and team leader and evaluator of European R&D projects. At the University of Economics and Management, she holds CAO position and manages activities in the field of science. She is responsible for strategic plans as well as accreditations. Currently, she serves at Czech National Higher Education Policy Council and chairs Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), Region 8 (Europe, Africa, Central Asia), serves as member of board of commissioners of Association for Transnational Higher Education Accreditation (ATHEA) and evaluator of Slovak National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education.​
