Rector´s Office

The Rector’s office is the executive body of VSEM, which conducts organizational, coordination, consulting and advisory, registration, and supervisory activities in the area of studies, research and the economic, personal, legal, external, and foreign relations and internal administration.

The supreme executive body is the Rector of VSEM (Prof. Ing. Milan Žák, CSc.), as well as the Academic Council of VSEM. The Students’ Council of VSEM is a self-governing body. The activities of the individual bodies and the specification of individual functions are stipulated by the VSEM Statute.

The Rector of College of Economics and Management (Prof. Ing. Milan Žák, CSc.) directs the activities of the school in the area of studies, pedagogy, research and international relations.

A graduate from University of Economics in Prague, Department of National Economy. Deals with political and economical aspects of economic development, notably including the influence of interest groups in decision making, the issue of corruption, quality management and institutional characteristics of the growth performance and efficiency of economic policy.
doc. Ing. Jaroslava hyršlová, Ph.D. Vice-Rector for Study Affairs 
The Pro-Rector for Study Affairs (Doc. Ing. Jaroslava Hyršlová, PhD.) directs the activities of the school in the area of studies. One of her duties is to elaborate the projects of development of VSEM. She equally prepares all the materials and documents that are necessary for the evaluation and accreditation of the school.
Doc. Ing. Jaroslava Hyršlová, Ph.D.
Graduate from Institute of Chemical Technology in Pardubice, Department of Economics and Management of Chemical and food industry. Author of scientific publications and scientific researcher in research projects. Since 2007 works as associate docent at the College of Economics and Management, since 2008 there is also Vice-Rector for study affairs.
PhDr. Kateřina Štěpánková Director of the Centre for Economic Studies
Centre for Economic Studies is VSEM pedagogical and scientific - research center, which brings together the Department of Economics, Business Economics and Computer Science and Quantitative Methods, which is responsible for activities conducted by the relevant educational work (teaching, scientific - research activity, publications and editorial activities, cooperation with practice).
PhDr. Kateřina Štěpánková
Graduated from the Faculty of Arts of Charles University, majoring in French - Romanian. Knows very well the Czech university environment in management positions, specializing in international relations and academic institutions for accreditation management degree programs. With VSEM cooperates since January 2012 as director of the Center for Economic Studies.
Ing. Vítězslav Kotík, MBA VSEM Management Institute Director
VSEM Management Institute is the educational and scientific - VSEM research center, which brings together the department of management, marketing and human resource management, also is responsible for activities conducted by the relevant educational work (teaching, research - research activities, publishing and editorial activities, cooperation with practice).

Ing. Vítězslav Kotík, MBA
Graduate from Prague International School in the field of Management Economic, managerial experience in business and marketing gained by cooperation with Telefónica O2 and MAFRA media group, where he worked for many years like management leader. 
Ing. Lucie Čunderliková Vice-Rector for Strategy and Development
The Vice-Rector for Strategy and Development directs the activities of the school in the area of foreign affairs, strategy, development and research. One of her duties is to elaborate the projects of development of VSEM. She equally prepares all the materials and documents that are necessary for the evaluation and accreditation of the college.
Ing. Lucie Čunderliková
Graduated from Faculty of Economics and University of Agriculture in Prague (Master's study program Economics and Management). At the College of Economics and Management operates for five years. Member of the New Media Committee of the ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs). Worked in tertiary education for several years in the field of culture and non-profit organizations sector as PR and media communications professional.
