Application Form
E-application is exempt from any administrative fees
Applicants use an electronic application form of the College of Economics and Management (VSEM); the VSEM E-application form is exempt from administration and registration fees.
Administrative Requirements and Materials
An integral part of a study application is an electronic applicant’s photo (“passport-format” photo – i.e. 170px x 132px, JPG/PNG format) which should be uploaded via E-application or SIS VSEM/Applicant's/student's Files/Photo, as well as an officially authenticated copy of an applicant’s documents concerning the highest completed education (as an attachment to the study application). Graduates of VSEM study programmes (Bc./Ing./MBA) do not have to submit any documents about their highest completed education.
The officially authenticated copy documenting the highest completed education and the photograph must be submitted within the date of the admission proceedings for the given starting date of the studies. In case an applicant fails to deliver the required documents and data, it shall be considered as a failure to comply with the terms and conditions of the admission proceedings, and his/her study application is subsequently discarded (an applicant did not meet the terms and conditions of the admission proceedings).
How an Application Form is Sent and Registered
Application form is sent and the required materials are submitted by an applicant (registration of the application in SIS).
Electronic copy of the application form is sent to an applicant’s contact email (stated in the E-application).
Electronic invitation for the admission proceedings is sent (invitations are sent once a week – on Monday).
Confirmation of the date by an applicant via the link provided in the invitation to the admission proceedings (registration of an applicant’s date in SIS).
In case the application does not meet the necessary requirements, it is registered only temporarily and the applicant is asked to complete the mission data and/or attachments by the date of the admission proceedings for the respective starting date.
In case an applicant fails to carry out the necessary modifications/additions within the fixed date, he/she failed to comply with the terms and conditions for admission (his/her application is discarded; see the VSEM Statute).
E-application Form Deadline
The dispatch date of a VSEM E-application by an applicant should correspond to the recommended date for the submission of an application, depending on the relevant starting date of studies (October, January, April), see the admission proceedings dates.
In case the capacities for individual study groups are filled, applications registered after the recommended date will be automatically included in the group for the following starting date.
Confirmation of the Admission Proceedings Date
All applicants must confirm the admission proceedings date within 7 days from the delivery of the electronic invitation. Failure to confirm the term within the given date shall be considered as a noncompliance with the terms and conditions for admission (the given application is discarded; see the VSEM Statute).
14 days prior to the regular VSEM admission proceedings, applicants of the full-time study programme (P1) will be asked via e-mail to confirm their attendance. They will receive the exact time of the admission proceedings (10:00 / 13:00 / 16:00).
Extraordinary Date of the Admission Proceedings
Applicants may undergo the admission proceedings on any other workday (13:00 / 16:00), within 14 days after the date of the regular admission proceedings for the given starting date of the studies (the extraordinary date of the admission proceedings is charged at CZK 1,000); see Request for an extraordinary date of the admission proceedings.
Whether or not the applicant has met the requirements of the admission proceedings will be announced to him/her in a written form within 14 days. Electronic results are available within 7 days.
