Business Economics Department

The Business Economy Department is a special educational workplace which provides tuition in theoretical economics and the related practice-oriented disciplines within all accredited bachelor's, master's and MBA study programmes.

PhDr. Tomáš Vyhnánek

Practical Applications

He completed his master's degree in theoretical economics at the Institute of Economic Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University in 2005. Since then, he has been working at the same school as an external lecturer. Tomas specializes in public finance, with an emphasis on management, control and audit of public sector expenditures. He has held managerial positions at the Office of the Government, the Ministry of Health and in the private companies ČSOB, a.s. and Deloitte Advisory, s.r.o. He is now working for the seventh year at the Ministry of Finance, where he was Deputy Minister for Financial Management and Audit in 2015-2020.
