The language scholarship applies to all the study programmes (Bc., Ing. etc.) and study modes (part-time, full-time). The objective of the language scholarship is to motivate the students to carry out their study duties continuously and to provide them with the possibility to attend courses of foreign languages according to their preferences.
Conditions of the Language Scholarship Grant
A student is entitled to the language scholarship award in case he or she obtains at least 80% of the ECTS credits for the given year of studies, following the standard study plan. The student must not be given any administrative points.
Request for the Scholarship
The student submits the language scholarship request via SIS VSEM/Study form/Scholarship, specifying his or her requirements concerning the language course (the choice of the foreign language, the initial competences in the foreign language chosen, the teaching days and the amount of lessons, the location of the instruction etc.). The language scholarship request is subject to approval of the Study Department of VSEM .
Extent of the Scholarship
In case a student fulfils all the conditions necessary for the language scholarship award, he/she will be given a 5,000 CZK voucher he can exchange for a language course in Domus Linguarum language school. The choice and the form of the course depends purely on the student.
